With his “No medium gone unturned” mentality, Benjamin thrives in creative spaces by using knowledge and influences from his different creative endeavours to better inform the work that he makes.

Starting as a dancer, Benjamin has worked his way up to dance on World Stages and in Blockbuster Movies. He also stars as an actor in the Canadian teen drama series The Next Step. From working as a dancer, Benjamin found that he had an aptitude for choreography and has taught workshops and choreographed music videos.  With a love for the human experience, Benjamin also has a passion for Photography and taking film portraits of unique people. He also makes graffiti-inspired fine art pieces under the persona “SMAZ”.

With influences from all over, Benjamin looks to marry all of his creative outlets into Directing and Filmmaking. With his dance-based films “Home” and “Fall,” Benjamin aims to dive head-first into his creativity and continue to make impactful art of all kinds for the world to see.
